So I took the kids with me to the grocery store - this is a rare occasion because really - why put myself through that if I don't have to? I have friends who have lots of kids (4-6 and some multiples) and take them all with them to the grocery store - and I commend them for that - but I'd just rather not.
It went really well today! I made it through Meijer and Kroger and gave them s
acks in between the two stores and only had one meltdown towards the very end and a couple LOUD moments - but really not to bad. =o)
(Yes, I know you all who have no problem with this think I am a wimp - but that's okay!)
Today's thoughts....
Outside my window...It's sunny and in the 40's!!! YAY! Feels like a heat wave - sneak peak at Spring?
I am thinking...about how David and I get to go to dinner and see a movie tonight!!! YAY!
I am thankful for...sales at the grocery stores.
From the kitchen...I make chocolate pudding from the book Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld
I am hearing...Super Why on TV.
I am hoping...the kids will go down easily tonight so David and I can go out as soon as the sitter comes! MUCH needed time away.
One of my favorite things...getting mail! I will be disappointed if USPS stops delivering on Saturdays.
Confession Corner: I really like to eat Mini Sausage Bites by Hickory Farms - they are horrible for you -(Kroger Brand is slightly better for you) especially if you are dieting - but I really like them!

Something funny: Ezra all of a sudden thinks his bath towel is a cape, and never wants to take it off. This is right before bed last night.
Here is a picture I am sharing... We found this on the counter this morning while cleaning, David said it was our sign that we need to go to Disneyworld for a vacation! =o)
