Weekly Scrabble - (D3)
So, I normally don’t carry my camera around with me. I do have a camera on my iPhone and I often have a point&shoot in my purse. However, since I started the 365 Challenge I have been carrying my DSLR with me everywhere. (Because I don’t want 365 photos of my kids and things around my house – and I am sure neither do you!)
Well, today, I was SO glad I had my camera, because at my favorite working location (aka…Panera) entered in this motley crew.
These women are in their 70’s-80’s (overheard by myself) and they meet every week to play Scrabble together. “To keep their minds fresh”. It’s an excellent idea and they were so fun for
me to listen to while I was working. They are Greek women and said I NEED to make sure to go
to the GREEK Festival, which is THIS WEEKEND by the way! They said they have been cooking and cooking and preparing for it!
I heard many other things that kept me cracking up, and I finally asked them if I could take their photo for my 365 project. ”We would be honored” they said. However, I was the one who felt so privileged to capture this most adorable, spunky little group of women!
Here are a couple more shots – since I like to tell a little more of the story, and I’ll end with my
Day 3 Photo.
See the booth behind them? That was my front row seat to their fabulous Scrabble afternoon!
They came up with some amazing words I would have never thought of – trust me…minds like tacks! =o)
This was my favorite, because it was totally spontaneous and candid! I loved it, so it’s D3!

We're going to the Greek Festival for dinner FRIDAY night! Then the Italian Festival Saturday night... yearly tradition since who knows when. :)
So cute! Love this!
